One Word: LINES
The setting by the waterfront was pretty scenic, and it was a fun afternoon in Williamsburg, but the tremendous buzz-killing hassle to navigate that venue was also evident. Another line for beers, lines to get tickets, line up to get in, lines for the beer garden. You couldn't even bring the beer out of the enclosed designated beer-drinking area? So you could watch the show or drink a beer, but not both. Long lines to use the port-o-johns, and then a line to get OUT of the beer garden. I missed much of the show while waiting in all the lines. If I could do it over, I would have brought a flask of bourbon and refrained from drinking anything else to concentrate on the music instead of wasting time and money. Something has to be done about that creepy nitrous scene outside the show. The music itself was good.
